accredo pharmacy has shown a shocking level of incompetence and indifference. my minor child was due for a critical medication yesterday, a medication she needs to manage a serious chronic illness and prevent pain and complications. as of today, accredo cannot even provide a delivery date.
let that sink in. a child is left in pain and at risk because this pharmacy cannot manage its own processes.
this was not a last-minute request. prior authorizations were already approved. we followed every rule, made every phone call, and still ended up with delays, misinformation, and empty apologies. each representative passes the problem along, while no one takes responsibility and nothing gets done.
accredo's failures have real consequences. this is not a delayed sweater or a missed refill for vitamins. this is a child's health. their lack of urgency, accountability, and compassion is appalling.
if you are considering accredo for specialty medications, especially for a child or anyone with a serious condition, be warned. you will spend hours on the phone, receive conflicting answers, and still be left without medication when it matters most. patients deserve better. families deserve better. this pharmacy should be ashamed of the harm their negligence causes.

God help you if the doctor sent them a new prescription because he/she will have sent it two or three times. It seems like no one knows what they're doing over there.
Don't even ask for a supervisor or manager because they will tell you one will call but never does. There needs to be a class-action lawsuit filed against them for making people wait on life-saving medication.

Extortion tactics
These people are basically legalized racketeering. Price adjustments every month on the same medicine; as much as 100% increases, constructed billing designed to benefit insurance agencies and punish patients, with zero regard to the actual patients needs.
If theres a way to avoid using them, do so at all costs! Ive never had as much of an unethical and lack of caring experience in all my life.

STAY AWAY FROM Accredo or Express Scripts.
I've been dealing with both for the past four years and it got worse.
They lie, misrepresent, delay, you name it.
I spend 4-5 h/months, at a minimum to fill medication. The recording says you can fill it on line but on line they give you the phone # to call.
Now I will have to travel w/o medication because they lied to me I would get until the last moment. I wish I can give -5

I have no choice. It's the only pharmacy in network
The most incompetent company I have ever dealt with. It's been 20 days since my prescription was sent to Accredo.
I call every day and every one I speak to gives different information and everyone tells me 24-48 hours. Its been 23 days and I am still without my prescription

I can't begin to explain how much this pharmacy has screwed up processing my claims and my finances due to incorrect claims processing. Trying to get things corrected is an effort in futility.
Unfortunately, BCBS requires me to use this pharmacy.
In a perfect world, they wouldn't exist. If I could give negative stars, -10,000.00.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. They finally delivered my meds. They said they "coached" some of their employees.
I really need my medication. It has been over 6 weeks since Cigna approved my medication, but accredo still has not shipped my medication!
I keep getting the same story - 1 to 3 days more.
I'm really upset and don't know what else to do to get my Approved medication. They even billed me $1500 2 weeks ago and still no medication.

VERY Disappointing!!
This was my first time needing to fill a specialty medication, therefore my first time using specialty pharmacy. Unfortunately I didn't do any research but rather used what was approved by my insurance.
I had the most difficult time getting simple questions answered. My script was sent in on May 9th and I have yet to receive the medication by today 5/31. My husband and I are currently trying to conceive and this trigger shot is very important in our IUI process. Calling several days in a row, representatives kept repeating they would resubmit and expedite but no medication received.
Thursday a rep says, "oh this is for fertility, this is for Freedom Fertility our sister pharmacy. They have your script, contact them." Why wasn't I informed, how was I supposed to know this being a first time customer? Called Freedom Fertility, guess what..."we don't have a prescription sent in for this." It's now the weekend and I'm due to take this shot on Monday 6/2. Called Accredo back and asked to speak with a supervisor who claimed they sent the script on May 12th.
Why is there no communication? Why don't they have a record of it. I could have sent the script to them directly if someone would have just let me know. Will never be using this pharmacy again.
I could potentially loose a chance to be more successful getting pregnant and thousands dollars down the drain because Accredo couldn't process a medication correctly!!
Do better. Will never use again.

This company has no clue what is going on. To fill/refill your prescription, it takes 3 phones (all no less than 30 minutes each) and prayers.
They never give you the same story. They try to fill your Rx too early which causes even more delays.
On top of all that, we once without a medication for 6 months, but could see where they were still taking money from the copay assistance card. I am currently trying to get my insurance company to allow a switch.

Shipped a medication after I told them more at least 3 times than could not pay for it, now they demand over $4000.00 in payment, they are not backing down or taking it back.
copay went up from $20 to over $4000.00. I said that I could not pay.
They referred me to the Manufacturer. While waiting they contacted me again, I told them that I could not pay. I succeed with the Manufacturer. They contacted me again by tx after I succeeded with the manufacturer and asked for a delivery date without specifying what source the delivery was coming from.
I called to clarify and was told that the $4000.00 pay still stands. Again I told them that I could not pay. Then they still send it out one week after and expect me to find the money to pay. I said from the inception that I cannot pay.This is a lot of money.
and if I an taking the time to avoid misunderstandings, then why, At no time did anyone use any language to me to make me understand that they were going to send this out, in spite of the tx. This is what communication is about. And I communicate every step of the way. The Language That I know Is if someone said that they cannot pay then it means that they do not want it, and you will not be paid.
If you ask for a date by tx and I follow up with a call it is because there is need for clarity. I made myself quite clear, there was no clarity in any of the language by the Agent to address my call and expressed concern to indicate that they will still send it anyway and I have to pay. I am not dumb , but smart enough to at that point insist that they reconsider what their intensions are.
You cannot take my call, after the tx, look at the tx, hear what I said, don't ask questions if your are sure ( they must be a reason why I called ) listened to what I said and the do what that agent did. Now as an organization you response leaves much to be desired.

I am constantly receiving emails regarding someone else's prescription medication, when it's time to refill, when the order will be ready, etc. I suggest you check your records because I do not use your service.
I'm in the UK, so either your records are incorrect or my email address is being used fraudulently by your customer.
Given the sensitive nature of the emails, I suggest this is fixed soon.

Every month I cringe when it's refill time. What's the issue going to be this month?
They need a prior authorization; they have one. Next time I call, it has magically disappeared. Now they have lost all my insurance information. I have been getting meds from them since 2019.
My insurance has not changed.
My prescription that had 4 refills on it is no longer showing up on their website. If I could get my meds elsewhere, I would.

They make excuses every month to delay life-saving medications. Almost never deliver on time and won't tell you when there's an issue you need to call for.
You are essentially their babysitter. Keep notes and case numbers as if it's a court case for every interaction.

I had my meds delivered late twice, missing on critical doses. They could care less.
I am now 2 days without meds because the people at Accredo Speciality Pharmacy are incompetent. This happened last month as well.
Furthermore, I received a message that I needed to call them.
However, and agent called me and began the conversation with...I'm calling about your allergies to the meds. And I said, I don't have one...who are you supposed to be calling?
And she gave me someone else's name. No identifying the patient first.HIPPA VIOLATION

My son is on multiple medications that I am required to fill through Accredo because of my insurance. The company is awful.
It takes months of phone calls from me, the doctor calling multiple times, literally chasing them around to do their jobs before anything is ever filled. I have spent so many hours on the phone with them in the last six to seven months trying to get medications filled; it is a nightmare. Every time I call, I'm told it's been sent to the pharmacist, and every single time, it has been a lie. I have nothing positive to say about the company at all.
If a CSR is assuring that they sent it, why isn't there some sort of a checks-and-balances process to ensure patients' meds are actually being filled? It makes no sense at all.
I am so angry after calling again and being told, yet again, the new medication was sent to the pharmacist. It's March 10th; it's been two months since the prescription was received by them, and it still hasn't been processed.

They hire the absolute DUMBEST AND MOST INCOMPETENT *** that walk the planet. Every month my prescriptions are late and i have spend numerous hours on the phone to get my injections shipped.

I do not understand this crap service. I am left suffering and in pain because they delay the shipping of psoriatic arthritis injection.
